Admin's free software: snatching videos

A few members here and myself know our way pretty well around windows and the internet and can assemble a computer without directions. We don't know everything, but we'll be happy to help.

Admin's free software: snatching videos

You want to save videos from Youtube or other sites to your computer?

There are many browser plugins claiming to do that, but in reality just a handful really work.

One of them is DownloadHelper, which I use:
http://www.downloadhelper.net

Another is Orbit Downloader, but on installation it seemed to want to install itself in every corner of my PC.

And then there is a list of such tools here:

Sothink Web Video Downloader works great on FireFox.

I've been using that since the thing first came out.

Simple and works every time.

Psssst! Careful someone on another forum might say you're out to cheat people out of their revenue if you do anything of the kind, even something as little as copy pasting something! ;)
